So, we thought it would be a nice idea to give all our neighbours in the Jewellery Quarter a happy pot of daffodills from Lily Jones Flowers, just to brighten up their day.
This daunting task went to you junior florist Laura. With a spring in her step she took the job on and started the day long treck round the Jewellery Quarter.
Thinking… “Oh why me? what have I done to deserve this?” she nevertheless got on with it. However, after only a few of the gifts were delivered out, Laura came back a new girl, full of smiles and cheer.
On her return I was sure she was going to say “I want a new pair of shoes, a cup of tea and a pay rise”, but she didn’t – all she said was “Isn’t it lovely to make people so happy with flowers”.
Well done Laura – a true florist.
