After seeing a hand full of wonderful new brides and grooms at Lily Jones Flowers on Saturday. Sending out all our deliveries and wedding flower orders, we were all set for our day off on Sunday and thought we may even finish on time…… for a change.
Then, the phone call came from one of our clients for 301 red roses to be delivered to The Hilton Metropole Hotel by 8am on Sunday. In true florist fashion our emotions took over…… Calm on the outside sheer panic on the inside.
First laughter….ha ha ha REALLY.
Then PANIC….OMG
Then thought, control and a plan.
We phoned our trusty flower wholesaler Paul (who was actually still awake) he came to the rescue with a delivery of 300 red roses. We then conditioned them all and wrapped them ready for delivery. All this was done within an hour and a half of the phone call from the client.
Thank you to the team and Paul for making this all possible and also making a very lucky lady very happy with 301 red roses, whoever she was???
